New Products in Xiaomi's Conference

  【天极网IT新闻频道】On November 24th afternoon, Xiaomi hosted a press conference in Chinese National Conventin Center and announced three new products.

  Redmi Note 3

  According to Xiaomi, Redmi Note 3 is Xiaomi’s first phone with a full-metal body and a fingerprint sensor. It comes with a massive 4000mAh battery and the thickest point of the phone is 8.65mm. The design of the device uses 120-point ultra-fine double sided sandblasting. The fingerprint sensor will be used for both unlocking the phone and payments as Xiaomi claims it only takes 0.3 seconds to recognize the fingerprint.

  The size of Redmi Note 3 is 149.98x75.96x8.65mm and it weighs 164g. Furthermore, it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2Ghz MT6795 processor, a 5MP front camera, a 13MP back camera, dual-LED flash and Android 5.0.2 system. It will be available in black, white and gray.

  The price of Redmi Note 3 would be 899 CNY for 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 1099 CNY for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM.

  Mi Pad 2

  Mi Pad 2 comes pretty light and thin, using a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor, a 7.9-inch screen, 2048px1536p resolution just like iPad mini 4, a 6190mAh battery and USB Type-C.

  Mi Pad 2 also is designed to prevent accidental touches, which would be useful in playing games. The tablet also provides resources for thousands of apps and it will be compatible with Windows 10. The price would be 999 CNY for 16GB and 1299 CNY for 64GB. It will be launched in late December.

  Mi Air Purifier 2

  Compared to the first generation, Mi Air Purifier 2 has reduced its size, electricity cost and 11% of the noise. According to Xiaomi, Mi Air Purifier is 58% more power efficient than the previous one because of its single engine and double fans. The price of Mi Air Purifier 2 is 699 CNY.
